Music Ministry
Our parish is blessed with a vibrant and growing music ministry made up of professional musicians, trained volunteers, and enthusiastic newcomers. Our doors—and our music—are always open to you!
Whether you have years of formal musical training or have never sung in a choir before, you are welcome here. You don't need to be able to read music, and you don't need any formal choral experience. If you have a love of music and a desire to share it, we will help you learn. We are excited to welcome you into our ministry!
For millennia, the Church has been one of the world's greatest patrons of the arts, and we are proud to carry that tradition forward in our own parish. Through music, we seek to enrich our worship, celebrate the beauty of our faith, and create a place where everyone can participate.
Music at Mount Carmel
Our choir sings every Sunday at the 10:00 a.m. Mass at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, under the direction of Co-Directors Diego Tornelli and Clay Harrison.
Together, Diego and Clay work to create a rich and varied musical life for our parish, drawing from the extraordinary breadth of the Church's musical tradition. Our repertoire spans centuries—from Latin and Gregorian Chant to the great works of the Classical tradition, as well as beautiful modern liturgical compositions.
Our music ministry incorporates organ, piano, guitar, and, of course, our choir, creating a musical experience that is both deeply rooted in tradition and accessible to people of all ages and backgrounds. We strive to select music that speaks to the whole parish community—young and old, lifelong Catholics and those just beginning their journey of faith.
Our musicians also serve the parish at major celebrations, parish events, and throughout the great feasts of the liturgical year, helping make these moments especially joyful and memorable.
Music at Annunciation
Our 6:00 p.m. Mass at Annunciation is led by Clay Harrison and a small team of guitarists. This growing Mass, particularly popular with our young adult community, offers another opportunity to encounter the beauty and joy of music in worship.

Above all, our music ministry is a welcoming, joyful, and inclusive community. You don't have to be an expert. You don't have to have experience. You simply have to come with an open heart and a willingness to learn.
